Privacy Notice

The Sanapsis apps are developed by Puheklinikka NET Oy, which is the controller of your personal data. Contact: sanapsis@puheklinikka.net.

The apps

SanapsisPro and Sanapsis+ do not collect, store or share personal data. They need no account or login, and they contain no analytics, advertising or tracking. They do not access your location, contacts, photos or device identifiers. Sanapsis+ uses the microphone so that you can listen back to your own speech. Recordings are not saved or shared.

If you have allowed your device to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may send us crash reports. These contain technical details about the error, not your name or contact details.

The website

  • We only receive the personal data you send us yourself, for example your name and email address when you email us, or your answers if you take part in our user survey (Google Forms).
  • The website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising tools.
  • The chat on our Support page is provided by stand.chat. What you type there is sent to stand.chat so that your question can be answered.
  • Videos are hosted on Vimeo and load only when you press play. Vimeo then handles the data under its own privacy policy.

Why we use your data

We use your messages and survey answers only to reply to you, give support and improve our apps. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in supporting our users and, for the survey, your consent. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions.

Who receives your data

Only the service providers we need: Google (email and survey), stand.chat (chat), Vimeo (videos) and GitHub (website hosting), and authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages only as long as we need them to handle your matter, or longer if the law requires it. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at sanapsis@puheklinikka.net. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Finland this is the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Do Not Track

We do not track visitors across websites, so Do Not Track signals do not change how the website works.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only we have access to the messages you send us.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will publish the new version here and update the date above.
